Emergency measures on US GM rice products

FSA Wales has issued a Declaration under Regulation 33 of The Official Feed and Food Controls (Wales) Regulations 2006 ( S.I. NO.590(W.66)), to implement European Commission Decision 2006/578/EC on emergency measures regarding the non-authorised genetically modified organism LL RICE 601 in rice products.

The Food Hygiene (Wales) Regulations 2006

The Food Hygiene (Wales) Regulations 2006 (SI 2006/31 (W.5) came into force 11 January 2006 � as well as applying the original EU Regulations (852/2004, 853/2004 and 854/2004), the regulations also apply the provisions of the EU implementing and transitional measures and the EU Microbiological Criteria Regulation.
