Food Standards Agency publishes local authority audit

The Food Standards Agency has published its report of a recent focused audit on the food law enforcement services of Isle of Anglesey County Council. This report can be found on the Agency's website via the link below.

sle of Anglesey County Council is one of ten authorities in Wales selected for the audit programme which is being undertaken between September 2009 and March 2010. The FSA carries out these audits as part of its work to maintain and improve consumer protection and confidence by ensuring that local authorities are providing an effective food law enforcement service. The audit examined the local authority's official controls and food business operator controls in approved establishments.

Following this audit an Action Plan has been drawn up and agreed with Isle of Anglesey County Council.
