Regulations related to Scotland
The legislation on the composition and marketing of animal feed (which covers feed for farmed livestock as well as horses, pets, farmed fish, zoo and circus animals and, in certain circumstances, creatures living freely in the wild) is derived from EU measures.
The Food Hygiene (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (SSI 2006/3) came into force on 11 January 2006 - this applied the provisions of the EU implementing and transitional measures and the EU Microbiological Criteria Regulation.
