Background

This project aims to extend the UK Soil and Herbage Pollutant Survey to include the collection and analysis of samples of soil and vegetation to provide baseline information about the level of dioxins, PCBs, metals and radionuclides from rural, urban and industrial locations in Scotland. This data will allow future trends to be assessed.
