C01020: The transfer and uptake of organic contaminants into meat of chickens, sheep and pigs, and eggs

This research project aims to determine the amount of PCBs and dioxins that can transfer from animal feed, soil or herbage into meat and eggs from chickens, pigs and sheep reared using standard husbandry practices.

C01034: UK soil herbage survey

This survey project aims to provide a national overview of the chemical contamination of soil and herbage.

C01037: Study of the effects of flooding on concentrations of PCDD/Fs and PCBs in milk from cattle grazing on affected pastureland

This research project aims to investigate the contamination of pasture by flooding rivers as a potential source of dioxins and PCBs in cows' milk.
