A 4 year rolling programme of surveys on migrants from food contact materials and articles. First year, survey 1: formaldehyde from melamine ware

A05006: Food Irradiation Detection test R&D – Investigation of statistical and imaging methods for luminescence detection of irradiated ingredients in blended foods

This research project aims to develop new and improved methods to detect whether blended mixtures of herbs, spices and seasonings contain irradiated components.

A05008: A short-term investigation of the thermoluminescence (TL) properties of talc

This research projects aims to discover whether talc used in dietary supplements can give rise to a false indication that supplements have been irradiated.

A05009: The safety of irradiated foods - a review of current literature
