H01001, H01002: Technical knowledge of food processes

These research projects aim to improve food chain management by producing information sheets for small and medium enterprises to improve knowledge of risk assesment and hazard analysis.

H01003: A pilot study using archive retrieval methods to record and review food safety breakdowns

This research project aims to investigate the possibility of designing a readily accessible database of the incidence of food safety failures in the UK.

H01004: Breakdowns in food safety

This research project aims to determine where and why breakdowns in food safety occur and enable prioritisation of areas for attention, which it is hoped will make a significant impact on the reduction of foodborne illness.
