Q01013: Varietal identification of potatoes by DNA profiling

This research project aims to use DNA profiling to identify different varieties of fresh potatoes and collate the information in a database.

Q01076: Verifying the authenticity of “organically grown” crops using stable nitrogen isotope analysis

This research project aims to develop a method that can verify whether artificial nitrogenous fertilisers (i.e. produced by chemical synthesis) have been used during the production of ‘organic’ vegetables.
