Listen to this siteThe Social Science Research Committee (SSRC) was established in April 2008, to help the Agency strengthen its capacity for social science research and to provide advice to the Agency about how it gathers and uses social science evidence.
The SSRC comprises an independent Chair and 11 expert members, including two lay members.
The SSRC is supported by a secretariat provided by the Food Standards Agency.
