Workshop on foodborne disease in the home

Delegates at this workshop on 7 May 2002 considered the current level of knowledge about foodborne disease and hygiene in the home, reviewed current or recent Agency work, tried to identify gaps in research and surveillance, and discussed how best to reach consumers with food hygiene messages.

The one-day workshop was attended by researchers, public health and related professional groups and representatives from consumer and community organisations.
