Allergens: milk, shellfish, fish and gluten (wheat)
Ref: AA/2009
Asda Pick 'n' Mix Mexican Rice
The implicated product mentioned below actually contains Mexican Paella. Therefore the product contains milk, shellfish, fish and gluten (wheat), which are not declared on the label. This makes the product a potential health risk for people who are allergic or intolerant to these allergens.
Asda has withdrawn the affected date code from sale. In addition, the company has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will inform their at-risk members of the withdrawal. Notices will be displayed in all stores to alert consumers to the reasons for the withdrawal, and the actions they can take if they have purchased the product.
No other Asda products are known to be affected.
Customers with an allergy or intolerance to milk, shellfish, fish and gluten (wheat) are advised not to consume this product.
General advice on food allergens can be found at the link below.
