Risk

One batch of the above product contains sulphur dioxide, used as a preservative for the sultanas, which is not declared on the label. This makes the product a potential health risk for people who are sensitive to sulphites.

Action taken by the company

TRS Wholesale Co Ltd is withdrawing the affected batch from sale and has been asked to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will inform their at-risk members of the withdrawal.

No other TRS Wholesale Co Ltd products are known to be affected.

Advice to consumers

Customers who are sensitive to sulphites are advised not to consume these products.
