Risk

Hammonds Sauce Sachets contain allergens that are not declared on the label. Therefore, these products are a potential health risk for individuals allergic or intolerant to wheat, barley, soya, mustard and egg or intolerant to gluten.

Product identification

Action taken by the cmpany

The company has recalled the affected products from sale and has issued point-of-sale and customer service notices to all outlets supplied. These notices will alert customers to the reasons for the withdrawal and the actions they can take if they have purchased these products. No other Hammonds Sauce Sachet products are known to be affected.

Advice to consumers

Customers with an allergy or intolerance to wheat, barley, soya, mustard, egg or gluten are advised not to eat this product.
