Allergen: Wheat Gluten

Due to an error, Sainsbury’s Italian Mushroom Risotto has been manufactured with a sauce containing wheat gluten and chicken which are not declared on the ingredients list. This makes the product a potential health risk for people with an allergy to wheat or who are gluten intolerant.
Product name: Sainsbury’s Italian Mushroom Risotto 400g
Use by: All codes up to and including 14 SEP 2008
Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd has recalled the product and contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, who will inform their at - risk members of the recall. Notices are being displayed in all stores to alert consumers to the reasons for the recall, and the actions they can take if they have purchased the product.
No other Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd products are known to be affected.
Customers with an allergy to wheat or who are gluten intolerant are advised not to eat the product.
