Forest Products UK withdraws certain batch codes of Apricot Jam due to incorrect allergen labelling information

Certain batch codes of the below products may contain sulphur dioxide, which is used as a preservative in the apricot ingredient, that is not declared on the label. This makes these products a potential health risk for people who are sensitive to sulphites.

Product identifications

No other Forest Products UK Ltd products are known to be affected.

Action taken by the Company

As a precautionary measure, Forest Products UK Ltd is withdrawing the affected batches from sale and is contacting the relevant allergy support organisations, which will inform their at-risk members of the withdrawal. Notices will be displayed in all stores to alert consumers to the reasons for the withdrawal and the actions they can take if they have purchased the product.

Advice to consumers
