Products

Marks & Spencer plc Wholegrain mustard (205g) and Dijon mustard (205g)

Risk

Some of the Dijon mustard product, which contains sulphites, has been packed as wholegrain mustard leading to sulphites being present which are not declared on the label. This makes these products a potential health risk for people who are sensitive to sulphites.

Action taken by the company

Marks & Spencer plc has withdrawn the affected products from sale and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations which will inform their at-risk members of the withdrawal.

No other Marks & Spencer plc products are known to be affected.

Advice to consumers

Customers who are sensitive to sulphites are advised not to consume these products.
