The Health Store recalls a batch of its own brand Maize Flour Polenta due to an incorrect 'Gluten-Free' declaration

Tuesday 11 March 2008

Allergen: Gluten-containing cereal

Ref: Q/2008

Product

Maize Flour Polenta, 500g

Risk

As a result of a labelling error, one batch of the product is labelled as being gluten free but has been found to contain gluten at a level which is generally recognised to be unsuitable for a naturally gluten-free product. This makes this batch of the product unsafe for individuals who are intolerant to gluten.
