Low Fat Summerfruit Yoghurts 4 x 125g

Risk

A limited quantity of Low Fat Summerfruit Yoghurt film lids have been incorrectly placed on Low Fat Dessert Style Yoghurts which are otherwise fully and correctly labelled. The Low Fat Dessert Style Yoghurts contain gluten and egg which makes the product a potential risk for people with a gluten intolerance or egg allergy.

Action taken by the company

The company has recalled all the affected stock and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations which will inform their at risk members of the recall. Notices are being displayed in all stores to alert consumers to the reasons for the recall and the actions they can take if they have purchased the product. The text of the recall notice is below.

No other WM Morrison products are known to be affected.

Advice to consumers

Customers with an allergy to egg or an intolerance to gluten are advised not eat this product.

Product recall

Morrisons Low Fat Summerfruit Yoghurts, 4 pack, 69p

Use by 17th January

We are taking the precautionary measure of recalling this product.

It has come to our attention that a small number of Summerfruit Yoghurt lids have been incorrectly put on to pots of Dessert Style Yoghurts which are otherwise fully and correctly labelled. Customers purchasing the Summerfruit Yoghurts should be aware that the Dessert Style Yoghurts contain additional gluten and egg allergens.

We request that any customers with a gluten or egg allergy do not consume this product but return it to us for a full refund.

No other Morrisons products are affected.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standards of product safety and quality.
