This batch of the above product contains sulphites, used as a preservative in the apricots, which are not declared on the label. This makes these products a potential health risk for people who are sensitive to sulphites.
The Health Store has recalled the affected product and contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, who will inform their at-risk members of the recall. Notices are being displayed in store to alert consumers to the reasons for the recall, and the actions they can take if they have purchased the product.
No other products from The Health Store are known to be affected.
Customers who are sensitive to sulphites are advised not to consume these products.
