Owing to a production error, the wrong sauce has been packed within a particular batch of this product. The sauce contains a mustard ingredient that is not declared on the label, resulting in incorrect allergen information. The product is, therefore, a potential health risk for individuals with an allergy to mustard.

Action taken by the company

Wm Morrison Supermarkets plc has recalled the affected date code from sale. The company has also contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will inform their at risk members of the recall. Notices are being displayed in all stores to alert consumers to the reasons for the recall, and the actions they can take if they have purchased the product. No other Wm Morrison Supermarkets plc products are known to be affected.

Advice to consumers

Customers who are allergic to mustard are advised not to eat this product.

PRODUCT RECALL

Natural Choice Tomato & Chicken Fusiloni, 450g, £2.99

We are taking the precautionary measure of recalling our Natural Choice Tomato & Chicken Fusiloni. As a result of a production error, the wrong sauce has been used within the product, and contains a mustard ingredient which has not been listed as an allergen on the pack.

Those allergy sufferers who may be affected should not consume this product but return it to us for a full refund.

NO OTHER MORRISONS PRODUCTS ARE AFFECTED.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standards of product safety and quality.
