DAME DEIRDRE HUTTON CBE became Chair of the Food Standards Agency in July 2005. She has served on a number of public bodies and has considerable experience of corporate governance, risk-based regulation and consumer policy. She is Vice-Chair of the European Food Safety Authority Management Board and Deputy Chair of the Financial Services Authority.
We provide transcripts of the Chair's public speeeches as soon as we can after they have been delivered. These are available at the links below. These will be a very close account of what Deirdre said, but may not always capture any additional comments and remarks made during delivery.
