The Committee’s 50th meeting will take place in York on 3 June 2010.
The meeting will include a presentation from David Maxwell (Vivergo Fuels Ltd) on biofuel production. The Committee will also discuss and agree action it wishes to be taken on a paper on the presence of adventitious packaging in feedingstuffs obtained from recycled human food. The Committee will be informed of developments concerning the use of trace element additives to fortify animal feeds, and developments relating to maximum residue limits for nicarbazin (a coccidiostat).
This is an opportunity for interested parties and members of the public to observe how this Government advisory committee operates, and to follow the debate on a range of animal feed issues. At the close of the meeting observers will be given a chance to ask questions of the Committee. The agenda can be downloaded from the link below.
There is no entrance fee but places must be booked in advance using the registration form (see link below). If you would like to attend the open meeting please complete the registration form and return it to Mandy Jumnoodoo, ACAF Secretariat, Food Standards Agency, 3C, Aviation House, 125 Kingsway, Holborn, London WC2B 6NH, or email to mandy.jumnoodoo@foodstandards.gsi.gov.uk by 1 June 2010.
