Make healthy eating your World Cup goal

As the build-up to the World Cup gets into full swing, the Food Standards Agency is offering tips on how to combine watching hours of football with making choices about healthier eating.

Hosting a World Cup party? The Agency has suggestions for healthier snacks, tasty recipes from around the footballing world, as well as crucial food safety advice if you're planning a barbecue. If you're ordering a takeaway for yourself and your guests, there are plenty of healthier options – these are outlined in our 'takeway tips'.

And even for those watching games in the pub, there are healthier options than snacks high in salt and saturated fat.
