EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) has invited highly qualified scientists in a wide range of scientific fields and with expertise in carrying out scientific risk assessments, to apply to join two of its Scientific Panels.

EFSA’s independent panel members are required to deliver high-quality scientific advice to Europe’s risk managers. When new members are needed for one of the panels, these are selected from the reserve list. You can find out more about the selection procedure and how to apply at the link below.
The call for experts closes on 15 September 2010.
EFSA is also looking for new scientists to join its database of scientific experts, particularly in the following areas: new technologies (nanotechnology and cloning), plant health, genetically modified organisms, toxicology, exposure assessment, statistics, mathematical modelling and epidemiology.
