Advisory committee on science to meet

The General Advisory Committee on Science (GACS) is issuing an open invitation to its fifth meeting, which will be held in London on 4 March 2010.

GACS provides independent challenge and advice on how the Food Standards Agency collects and uses scientific evidence. The group is made up of 14 experts and two lay members, and it is chaired by Professor Colin Blakemore.
