Second update on Julian Graves seed recall

The Agency has issued a second updated Food Alert for Information on the recall by Julian Graves of some seed products contaminated with salmonella.

The company has now recalled some Omega Seed Mix because of the presence of salmonella and further batches of Omega Seed Mix, Sesame Seeds and Walnut Salad as a precautionary measure. Salmonella is a bacterium that can cause food poisoning.

The original Food Alert issued on 29 February and the first update issued on 4 March can be found at the links towards the end of this page.

Julian Graves has recalled the affected batches. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in all stores that sell the product explaining why the product has been recalled and the actions customers can take if they have bought the affected seeds.
