Second-joint chicken wings incident

Boxes of frozen second-joint chicken wings bearing a suspect illicit product description label and/or broken or damaged health marks have been found.

The discovery came to light during the inspection of the consignments of frozen meat and poultry seized from Euro Freeze (Ireland) Ltd.

The Agency has issued a Food Alert for Action.

Food alerts

Food alerts are the FSA's way of letting local authorities and consumers know about problems associated with food and, in some cases, providing details of specific action to be taken.
