February 2008 update on Official Controls

This is an update on the progress since December 2007 on negotiations at European Union level on European Commission proposals for implementing rules under Regulation 882/2004 on official controls for import controls for 'high-risk' feed and food of non-animal origin.

It includes a copy of the latest version of the draft Commission Regulation and invites comments on this as soon as possible but by Friday 29 February 2008 at the latest.
