Pro-Pak Foods Ltd has recalled various batches of sliced chicken roll due to contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

Pro-Pak Foods Ltd has undertaken a product recall and will be displaying point-of-sale notices in all stores supplied with the implicated product. These notices will alert customers to the recall and advise them of what actions to take if they have purchased the affected products.

The products recalled are:

Country Store Chicken Roll
Pack size: 125g
Following 'use by' dates: 28 Feb, 2 March, 7 March, 8 March 9 March and 14 March 2010

Netto Chicken Roll
Pack size 400g
Following 'use by' dates: 27 February, 4 March, 6 March, 7 March, 9 March, 12 March 2010

No other Pro-Pak Foods Ltd products are known to be affected.
