The Co-operative Group recalls three Truly Irresistable Indian Cooking Sauces due to acidity not meeting required levels

The public will wish to be aware that The Co-operative Group is recalling three Co-op Truly Irresistible Indian Cooking Sauces. This is because results from routine testing indicate that the products do not conform to the pH normally expected. This may allow growth of micro-organisms and there is a possibility that the affected sauces will not reach the shelf life as detailed on the jar.

The implicated products mentioned below are being recalled. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in stores stocking the affected product. These notices alert customers to the recall and advise them of what actions to take if they have purchased the product. A copy of the product recall notice can be viewed via the link below.

Co-operative Truly Irresistible Tikka Masala Sauce
Co-operative Truly Irresistible Korma Sauce
Co-operative Truly Irresistible Karahi Sauce
Best before: All date codes
Packaging: Glass jar, 350g.

No other Co-operative Group products are known to be affected.
