The public will wish to be aware that certain date codes of Waitrose Service Counter Aberdeen Angus Beefburgers listed below have been recalled due to possible contamination with small pieces of food grade hard white plastic.

The implicated products mentioned below are being recalled. Product recall notices have been placed in stores. These notices alert customers to the recall and advise them of what actions to take if they have purchased the product(s). Point of sale notice attached.

Service Counter Aberdeen Angus Beefburgers
Use by 18/06/09 and 19/06/09

No other Waitrose products are known to be affected.
