ASDA recalls its own brand Flapjack Mini Bites due to possible glass contamination

ASDA has recalled a batch of its own-brand Flapjack Mini Bites, due to possible glass contamination.

ASDA has withdrawn the affected batch from sale. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in stores. These notices will advise customers of the recall and the actions they can take if they have purchased the affected product.

What’s Happened
We have been informed by our supplier that there has been an incident in their factory, resulting in some glass breakage.

No glass has been found in the flapjack. However, as a precautionary measure we have decided to withdraw the product from sale.

What Should You Do
If you have bought ASDA 20 Flapjack Mini Bites with this date code, please bring it back to your nearest store where you will be given a full refund. You do not need your receipt.

No other ASDA Brand products are affected.
