SMA Nutrition has recalled one batch of SMA Gold ready to use liquid infant milk as a precautionary measure following reports of curdling of the product.

SMA Nutrition has recalled the affected batch. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed at all affected retail outlets and press notices have been issued. These notices will advise customers of the actions they can take if they have already purchased the affected product.

No other SMA Nutrition products are known to be affected.

PRODUCT RECALL

SMA Nutrition is recalling SMA Gold ready to use liquid infant milk 1 litre with the best before date - 12 MAR 2009 batch number 06033G which can be found printed on the top of the carton.

As a precautionary measure, SMA are advising that product from this specific batch should not be used.

No other SMA products or batches (either liquid or powder formulations) are affected by this recall.
