Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd recalls a batch of its own brand Hollandaise Sauce due to possible glass contamination

Sainsbury’s is recalling, on a precautionary basis, a batch of its own brand Hollandaise sauce. The recall follows a single report of glass being found in a jar.

Sainsbury’s is withdrawing this product from the shelves and putting up point-of-sale notices in its stores. These notices will advise customers of the recall and the actions they can take if they have already purchased the affected product.

The product recalled is:

No other Sainsbury’s Supermarket Ltd batch codes or brand name products are known to be affected.
