Food Alert: for Information
Ref: 47/2007
Patak's Breads Ltd of Cumbernauld has recalled certain batches of Naan bread due to possible glass contamination.
The batches recalled were manufactured by Patak’s Breads Ltd and packed under the Sainsbury’s and Morrisons labels. The potential source of the contamination has been identified and remedial action has been taken.
Patak’s Breads Ltd has been working with the relevant retailers to ensure that the potentially affected product is withdrawn from sale and consumers advised of the problem. Point-of-sale notices have been displayed in stores and inform customers of the actions they should take if they have already purchased the affected product.
No other batch codes or brand name products are known to be affected.
