Manor Bakeries recalls certain batches of Mr Kipling Mince Pies due to potential rubber contamination

Manor Bakeries has recalled certain batches of Mr Kipling Mince Pies due to the possible presence of pieces of food-grade rubber within the products.

Manor Bakeries has undertaken a product recall of all the affected batches. Product recall notices appeared in the national press on 1 and 2 December 2007. These notices will advise customers of the reason for the recall and the actions they can take if they have already purchased the affected products. All implicated retailers have been contacted and informed by the company of the product recall.

The affected products are:

Mr Kipling 6 in a box bearing the following production codes (located directly below the 'Best before' date)

235, 239,253, 254,259,260,261 or 262

No other production codes of Mr Kipling mince pies are known to be affected.
