The Silver Spoon Company has recalled a batch of Strawberry Flavour Crusha Milkshake Mix (740ml). A problem with the product has resulted in a single batch being unprotected against microbiological growth and spoilage, due to low acidity levels.
This product is sold exclusively through ASDA supermarkets. The Silver Spoon Company has recalled the product and will be placing product recall notices in the national press on 12 April 2007. Point-of-sale notices will also be displayed in all ASDA stores. These notices will alert consumers to the recall and advise them of the actions required if they have purchased the affected product.
The product recalled is:
Strawberry Flavour Crusha Milkshake Mix (740ml)
Batch Code: 7021
Best before end: Jan 09
No other batches of Crusha Milkshake Mix products are known to be affected. A copy of the product recall notice issued by the company is attached to this food alert.
