Nor-Sea Foods Ltd recalls a batch of Morrisons Scottish Hot Smoked Salmon due to contamination with Listeria monocytogenes

Nor-Sea Foods Limited has recalled a batch of Morrisons Scottish Smoked Salmon 100g packs with a use-by date of 27 September 2006, due to contamination with Listeria monocytogenes .

Morrisons has withdrawn all other batches of this product as a precautionary measure and arranged for point-of-sale notices to be displayed at all its stores. These notices advise consumers of the reason for the recall and the actions they should take if they have already purchased the affected product.

Use-by date: 27 September 2006

A copy of the point-of-sale notice displayed at Morrisons stores is attached to this food alert. No other products are known to be affected..
