Seven Seas Ltd withdraws a number of batches of its own brand food supplements due to the presence of dioxins (update 1)

Further to Food Alert for Information 16/2006 issued on 14 March 2006, a further product has been added to the affected product list.

Although there is no health risk associated with consumption of this product, the level of dioxins found in an ingredient exceeds statutory limits.

Seven Seas Ltd will be contacting recipients of this product requesting that they withdraw all the affected batches from sale. Notices will be placed in the national press to alert consumers of the withdrawal.
