Aldi Stores Ltd recalls Brooklea brand Thick and Creamy Yogurt due to glass contamination

Heads of Environmental Health and Directors of Trading Standards will wish to be aware that Aldi Stores Ltd has recalled a batch of all flavours of Brooklea Thick and Creamy Yogurt 150g due to glass contamination.

Aldi Stores Ltd has undertaken a product recall. Product recall notices will be placed in the national press on Tuesday 7 February 2006.

These notices will alert customers to the recall and advise them what actions to take if they have purchased the product. Point-of-sale notices will also be displayed in all Aldi stores.

USE BY 19/02/06

It has come to our attention that a batch of Brooklea Thick & Creamy Yogurt may have foreign bodies in the yogurt. As this product does not meet with our high standards of product quality we would ask that it is not consumed.

The product affected has the Use By Date of 19/02/2006.

No other products or use by dates are affected by this recall.

Customers who have bought this product are asked to return it to their nearest Aldi store, where a full refund will be given.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
