Product recall of Sainsbury's incorrectly date-coded mini egg bites

Sainsbury's has recalled its own-brand mini egg bites (12 per pack) 144g, due to the wrong 'use by' date inadvertently being applied. This product is sold exclusively through Sainsbury's supermarkets.

Sainsbury's has undertaken a full product recall and is placing product recall notices in national newspapers tomorrow. In addition, point-of-sale notices will be displayed in all Sainsbury's stores.
