Product withdrawal of Sainsbury's incorrectly date-coded Two Crusty Bake Pork Pies

Sainsbury's has withdrawn its own brand Two Crusty Bake Pork Pies 160g due to the wrong use-by date inadvertently being applied. This product is sold exclusively through Sainsbury's supermarkets.

Sainsbury's has withdrawn product from shelves and are placing customer advice notices in national newspapers as of 21 October 2005. In addition, point-of-sale notices will be displayed in all Sainsbury's stores.

A copy of the point of sale notice and customer advice notice from Sainsbury's are attached to this Food Alert.
