Aldi Stores Ltd recall various Pasteria Italian semi fresh pasta products due to presence of bacillus cereus

Aldi Stores Ltd has recalled various Pasteria Italian Semi Fresh pasta products due to the presence of Bacillus cereus.

Aldi Stores Ltd, which imports the products under licence, has undertaken a product recall of the affected items and will be placing product recall notices in national newspapers as of 4th November 2005.

In addition, point of sale notices will be displayed in all Aldi stores. The notice advises consumers of the reason for the recall and the actions they should take if they have already purchased the affected products.

The products recalled are:
Pasteria Italian Semi Fresh Tortelloni Prosciuto 250g
Pasteria Italian Semi Fresh Tortelloni Cheese and Spinach 250g
Pasteria Italian Semi Fresh Ravioli Funghi 250g

All codes with best before dates of:
10/12/2005
10/01/2006
14/01/2006

No other products or codes are known to be affected
