Product withdrawal of Morrisons own brand incorrectly date coded fresh cream profiteroles

Wm Morrison Supermarkets plc has withdrawn its own brand Fresh Cream Profiteroles 12 pack, due to the incorrect use-by date inadvertently being applied on the label of the product.

Wm Morrison Supermarkets plc has withdrawn the product from shelves and has displayed point-of-sale notices in all Morrisons stores as of 2 December 2005. The notice advises consumers of the reason for the withdrawal and the actions they should take if they have already purchased the affected product.

The product withdrawn is:
Morrisons Fresh Cream Profiteroles 12 pack
use-by date: 18 and 19 December

No other Wm Morrison Supermarkets plc products or batch codes are known to be affected.

Product recall: Morrisons Fresh Cream Profiteroles, 12pk

Morrisons has withdrawn its own brand Fresh Cream Profiteroles, 12 pack, due to it being labelled with the incorrect Use By date.

The Use By date can be found on the front of the pack. The recalled packs show a Use By date of 18th or 19th December when they should read 4th December.

Anyone who has purchased the product with a Use By date of the 18th or 19th December can eat it safely before the 4th December. If you do not wish to eat it, please return it to your nearest Morrisons Customer Service Desk for a full refund.

No other Morrisons products are affected
