Product Recall: Three brands of Tesco Chocolate Cake may have been contaminated with traces of peanuts

Tesco Stores Ltd are recalling three brands of chocolate cake. The recall is a precautionary measure as the cakes may be contaminated with peanuts.

The three brands included are as follows:

Tesco Rich Chocolate Christmas Cake
Tesco Chocolate Party Cake (rectangular tray)
Tesco Finest Chocolate Indulgence Cake

All batches of each cake are being recalled.

No other Tesco product is affected by this recall.

Additional Information:

Tesco has issued a public recall notice as attached in the national media today, and intends displaying customer notices in stores.

The Home Authority for Tesco Stores Limited is Broxbourne BC and the relevant officer is Annabel Caine who can be contacted on 01992 785569.
