Board Member for Scotland and Chair of Scottish Food Advisory Committee
PROFESSOR GRAEME MILLAR CBE is Chair of the Scottish Food Advisory Committee. He has a BSc (Hons) Pharmacy from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, and a Fellowship of The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain and is Hon. Professor of Pharmacy at the Robert Gordon University of Aberdeen. He has also been the Chairman of a number of NHS Scotland organisations and was the youngest appointed Chairman and non-executive Director before stepping down recently after 20 years in the health service. Mr Millar has also been Vice-Chairman of Quality Meat Scotland.
He currently holds a number of other positions including Vice Chair of Dumfermline Building Society and he was a member of the Medicines Commission of Great Britain. He is also a director of a small number of SMEs mainly working in the area of Health and Lifestyle.
